On Monday, Jan. 15, at 9:54 a.m. a firefighter was dispatched on a carbon monoxide alarm sounding at a residence on S. 151 Rd. The alarm had malfunctioned and no problem was found.

On Tuesday, Jan. 16,  at 9:59 p.m. the department was dispatched to a residence on Sunset Dr. for a hot electrical smell in the structure. Two trucks and seven firefighters responded. At 11:17 p.m. the department returned to the residence because smoke was coming out of the HVAC vents due to the failure of the capacitor on the furnace. Two  trucks and eight firefighters responded.

On Wednesday, Jan. 17, at two minutes after midnight the fire department was dispatched on a mutual aid with Olympia Fire Department for a brush pile fire east of Jerico  Springs. Two trucks and seven firefighters responded.

On Thursday, Jan. 18, at 1:36 p.m. the fire departmentt was dispatched on a mutual aid call for Caplinger Mills Fire Department for a grass fire near Blackjack. Three trucks and 11 fire fighters responded.
