Fire report for week of Jan. 31

On Sunday, Jan. 31, at 9:49 a.m., the fire department was dispatched to a house fire at Gentry and Allison Rd. The structure was fully engulfed upon arrival. Trucks 2, 3, 4 and 5 and 21 firefighters responded.

On Tuesday, Feb. 7, at 2:20 p.m., the fire department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident 5 miles east of town on Hwy. 54. 3 trucks and 9 firefighters responded.

On Saturday, Feb., at 3:53 p.m., the fire department was dispatched to a grass fire on country Road 75.  Approximately 2 acres were burned. Trucks 6 and 8 and Tanker 1 and 11 firefighters responded.
