Fire report for week of Jan. 9

On Tuesday, Jan. 11, at 1:15 p.m. the department was dispatched to an apartment on N. Main to assist the ambulance crew with a lift assist. Three firefighters helped.

On Thursday, Jan. 13, at 5:50 p.m. the Fire Department was dispatched to the airport to set up and protect a landing zone for a medical aircraft. Two trucks and 10 firefighters responded.

Later that evening at 7:25 p.m. the department was dispatched to the airport for a landing zone but was canceled en-route. One truck and four firefighters responded.
