On Sunday, July 18, at 1:33 a.m. the Fire Department was dispatched to a couch fire on S. Park St. Truck 5 and five firefighters responded.

On Tuesday, July 20, at 7;52 p.m. the Fire Department was dispatched to the Cedar County Memorial Hospital for a fire alarm. No fire was located. Two trucks and 14 firefighters responded.

On Thursday, July 22, 10;32 a.m. the Fire Department was dispatched to a residence on S. Jackson to reported smoke coming out of the house. Major damage was done within the structure. Trucks 2 and 5 and 11 firefighters responded.

Later that afternoon at 3:22 p.m. the department was sent on a mutual aid call with the Walker Fire Department to a structure fire in the Dederick area. Three trucks and 12 firefighters responded.
