Fire report for week of July 26

On Sunday, July 26, at 4:46 a.m., the Dire Department was dispatched to the Lion;s Club Park to a dumpster fire. Truck 5 and seven firefighters responded.

On Tuesday, July 28, at 5:26 p.m., the Fire Department was dispatched to Casey’s General Store for a reported smoke in building. A freon leak was discovered in the attic. Trucks 2, 4 and 5 and 17 firefighters responded.

Later that evening at 9:52 p.m., the department was sent to Rest Haven for a fire alarm sounding. No fire was located. Fire alarm was then reset. Trucks 2, 4 and 5 and 10 firefighters responded.

On Wednesday, July 29, at 5:07 p.m., the Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in Winner Rd., Fire damage to kitchen and moderate smoke damage throughout the house. Trucks 2, 4 and 5 and 16 firefighters responded.
