Fire report for week of June 22

On Sunday, June 22, at 4:34 p.m. the fire department was notified and requested to assist is a search for a reported missing person on the east side of town. The incident was cancelled when person was located. Fifteen firefighters responded.

On Thursday, June 26, at 8:48 p.m. the fire department was dispatched to a reported structure fire on Airport Rd. which turned out to be a controlled fire and no action was necessary. Three trucks and 17 firefighters responded.

On Saturday, June 28, at 10:32 a.m. the fire department was dispatched to a vehicle explosion and fire on county Rd. 420. Two trucks and 12 firefighters responded.
