Fire report for week of June 26

On Saturday, June 26, at 8:45 p.m. the fire chief was dispatched to a church on S. Park for a reported gas leak. Nothing was found.
On Sunday, June 26, at 3:40 p.m. the fire department was dispatched to the airport to set up a landing zone for a medical aircraft. Two trucks and 11 firefighters responded.
On Monday, June 27, at 8:41 p.m. the fire department was dispatched to a residence on E. Walnut to a reported trash fire. Two trucks and eight firefighters responded.
On Thursday, June 30, at 3:33 a.m. the fire department was dispatched to a structure fire on S. 75 Rd. Twu trucks and 11 firefighters responded.
On Friday, July 1, at 1:20 p.m. the fire department was dispatched to a small grass fire on E. 150 Rd. Three trucks and nine firefighters responded.
On Saturday, July 2, at 6:34 p.m. the fire department was dispatched to a grass fire in a ditch at Fly Creek Bridge on 54 Hwy. One truck and five firefighters responded.
Later at 10:46 p.m. the fire department put out a trash fire at Lucien Carter Ball Field. One truck and 13 firefighters responded.
The, at 10:58 p.m. the department responded to a motor vehicle accident at 54 Hwy. and 39 Hwy. Three trucks and 13 firefighters responded.
