VERNON COUNTY, Mo. – On Feb. 20, the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office and the Nevada Police Department executed two drug-related search warrants as part of an ongoing investigation into illegal narcotics.

In Milo, Mo., law enforcement officials conducted a search that led to the discovery of methamphetamine and a stolen handgun. One female suspect was arrested and is being held at the Vernon County Jail.

A separate warrant executed in Nevada, Mo., resulted in the recovery of additional methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Four individuals were taken into custody and transported to the Vernon County Jail.

“This operation underscores our steadfast commitment to combatting illegal drug activity and ensuring the safety of our communities,” said a spokesperson for the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities remind the public that all individuals involved are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
