From the El Dorado Springs Newsroom

The Good Dads Strong Schools program celebrated a successful month of activities in November at El Dorado Springs Schools, where families, students and volunteers gathered to strengthen connections and support youth development.

Good Dads of Cedar County — serving both El Dorado Springs and Stockton — facilitates the monthly gatherings, which bring fathers, grandfathers and father

figures into the school environment for breakfast, conversation and engagement with students. Organizers said November participation remained strong, reflecting continued support from local families.

The program emphasizes the importance of positive male role models and encourages adults to stay involved in students’ daily lives through consistent, family-centered interaction.

Darrin Griffin, who facilitates the El Dorado Springs events, helps coordinate activities and communication for families. Community members interested in getting involved may email him at eldogooddads@gmail.com.
