Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler (MO-4) congratulates the students of El Dorado Christian School who attended her annual Youth Leadership Summit at State Fair Community College in Sedalia on Oct. 19. Abigail Batson, Seth McKinney, Drew Steuck and Landon Wilson were provided the opportunity to hear presentations from individuals who have uniquely inspiring stories to share.

“It was an honor to meet and spend time with these young leaders from all over the Fourth Congressional District and to have them be a part of this event,” said Hartzler. “This year’s Summit attracted students from 36 high schools throughout our district. I am pleased they were able to hear from dynamic speakers who shared tips for success in high school and in reaching their goals in college and beyond.”

“I thank the presenters who shared their life experiences, offering advice on such topics as how to be successful,” added Hartzler. “I look forward to hearing from these exceptional students as they chart their future courses.”

Congresswoman Hartzler, a former teacher in Lebanon and Belton, serves on the House Agriculture and Armed Services Committees. She resides on a working farm near Harrisonville.
