The El Dorado Springs Senior Center is raising $500 in order to receive a dollar-for-dollar matching grant from Ozarks Food Harvest, the regional food bank for southwest Missouri. The funds stem from a grant The Food Bank received form the Wal-Mart Foundation state Giving program.

This in the ninth annual gift from the Wal-Mart Foundation’s State Giving program that Ozarks Food Harvest has offered to its agencies as the “Wal-Mart Hunger Challenge” matching grant opportunity. The funds the El Dorado Springs Senior Center raises for this cause will be used to provide food for our congregants’ meals and hour Home Delivered Meal program.

The El Dorado Springs Senior Center has until Feb. 28, 2019, to raise $500, which will be matched dollar-for-dollar, bringing the total funds to $1,000. Those who wish to donate to the El Dorado Springs Senior Center may mail donations to: 604 S. Forest, El Dorado Springs, MO 64744.

The El Dorado Springs Senior Center is a nonprofit, so all donations are tax deductible. When giving towards this particular cause, please specifically not that it be used towards the Challenge Grant. Thank you for your continued support.
