HISTORY OPENS ITS DOORS

The Wayside Inn Museum opened for a belated official season on Saturday, June 6. Joan Shepard was the first volunteer to open the doors and welcome guests. Ms. Shepard said that she had learned that the Wayside, originally called the Commercial Hotel was considered a luxury hotel because each bedroom had its own bathroom.

The museum is open Thursday – Saturday 1 – 4 and Sunday 2 – 4.
