Hospital delivers Healthy kids cookbooks to area students

DELIVERED AS PROMISED FOR HEALTHIER KIDS – Jenean Ehlers, RN, Community Services Manager of the Cedar County Health Department, a service of Cedar County Memorial Hospital, along with some help from Eric Carriker of our Maintenance Department, recently delivered “HEALTHY TO GO” cookbooks and FIT-TASTIC 12345 handouts – to area Cedar County schools – visiting El Dorado Springs Pre-K – 5th grades – Stockton Pre-K – 5th grades – and El Dorado Christian School Pre-K – 6th grades. Jenean Ehlers wrote the work plan for the cookbooks that encourages meal prep at home with quick yet healthy recipes – all in an effort to combat childhood obesity! Okay kids – let’s cook. We caught Jenean with Dr. Tracy Lanser and Dr. Tracy Barger at the ElDo R-2 School when she delivered 538 cookbooks to them.
