Just Say ‘Yes’

Just say “Yes!” when a board member asks you to join Friends of the Library, Inc. Membership dues are only $5 for individuals and $25 for a business, family, or organization. There is no further obligation by becoming a member, but Friends would love for you to get involved if you have some time. Dues and donated funds are used to provide many things for the library that are over and above what tax dollars are able to provide. Since Cedar County has two libraries within our county, tax dollars must be stretched to fund and staff two libraries.

The Friends of the Library, Inc. will hold their annual meeting on Monday, April 3, at 6:30 in the Meeting Room of the Cedar County Library, El Dorado Springs Branch. Three Board positions will be voted on and officers for the coming year will be elected.

With your help we will continue to have a progressive library.
