The Libertarian Party of Cedar County, Missouri, and the Cedar County Democrats came together Saturday to co-host a “No Kings” protest in front of the Cedar County Courthouse.
The event joined a national movement opposing what organizers described as the growing abuse of unrestrained executive power. Participants carried signs emphasizing peace and rejecting government coercion and state-sponsored violence.
According to the information provided to The Sun by Bon Morris, 46 people attended the protest, and the response from the community was “overwhelmingly positive.”
“The Libertarian Party stands for the rights of individuals and the free market,” Morris said.
