TOPS Chapter 9319 El Dorado Springs met in The Firefly Services building, formerly known as “Preferred Family Thursday, Dec. 19, for their regular weigh-in and meeting.
Our leader, Warren called the meeting to order, Samantha led us in singing “Walkedy walk walk”.
Warren led us in our TOPS and KOPS Pledge.
Warren then led us in Roll Call.
Eighteen members weighed in, we had a loss of 5.0 and a gain of 12.0 leaving us with a net gain of 6.8.
Best loser for the week was Sheryl with a loss of 3.2 pounds, congratulations Sheryl.
Judy will have the program next week.
Warren read some correspondence from our TOPS Service Program Administration. The web site has been updated, everyone will have to go in and follow instructions for updating their information. There also have been some rule changes, these can be found in your new TOPS NEWS Magazine in a special section in the middle.
Pat reported on the contest: Linda Hall is in 1st place, Jan 2nd and Warren 3rd.
Marble Game: Linda Clay won the right to draw but did not get the winning one.
There is $38 in the pot.
It was reported we won 3rd place in the Civic division in the parade. We had a really pretty float and represented the theme well. Thanks to those who worked so hard to make this a success. We had a limited turn out due to illness and the cold weather but still had a great time. Special thanks to Ike who donated the use of his trailer and car.
We sang Happy Birthday to Carol.
With no other business meeting was adjourned so we could have our Christmas Party.
With no other business we closed with our motto “IF IT IS TO BE IT IS UP TO ME”
