Marshall graduates from Air Force basic training

U.S. Air Force Airman First Class Joseph W. Marshall graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio – Lackland, San Antonio, TX.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program including training in military discipline and studies, Air Force Core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also ear four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the community college of the Air Force. Marshall earned distinction as an honor graduate.

The airman, a 2015 graduate of Webb City High School, is the son of Kenneth “Dwain” and Shelly Marshall of El Dorado Springs and Amy L. Goodan of Joplin.

Joe Marshall is the husband to Sandra L. Marshall of Joplin and proud father to Thea and Elias of Joplin. Joe also attended El Dorado Springs School in the 3rd grade thru part of the 6th grade.
