Dena Splitter, FNP recently joined the professional staff at the Cedar County Memorial Hospital Medical Mall Clinic at 1317 S. Highway 32 in El Dorado Springs, Missouri. She was born in Nevada and graduated from Hume High School. She later became an EMT and spent from 1991-1997 working for the Vernon County Ambulance District. For a time she lived in Oklahoma where she attended the University of Oklahoma (she’s a “Sooner” through and through she added) receiving her BSN — then went on to attain her Masters and Nurse Practitioner certification in 2015 through Pittsburg State University. She spent sixteen years as an ER nurse then put her Nurse Practitioner skills to work in the Emergency Room in Iola, Kansas — but it was while working in an Urgent Care setting that she found her “heart” in Family Practice…and that’s where she plans to stay. We are so glad to welcome her to our “family”!
