PAUL LUSTER PROMOTED – My father (retired El Dorado Springs Police Chief and current El Dorado Springs Councilman Jimmy Luster) asked me to send you a photograph concerning my recent promotion to the rank of Major with the Kansas City Police Department.  I am a 1994 graduate of El Dorado Springs High School and have a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Park University.  I’ve been with KCPD since 1997 and was promoted to Major on Jan. 10, 2020.  The attached photograph is from the promotional ceremony.  My Major’s badge is being presented by Police Chief Rick Smith.
