Nolan Davis, line superintendent, at Sac Osage Electric, told the Sun that he sent four men and two trucks to Derrider, LA, to help restore the hurricane damage. He expects them to be there 10 to 12 days.
“We had a little storm up here the day we sent them out. Our guys worked about nine hours that day.”
“I think that of 9,000 or so people, they didn’t have anybody on. They said bring a lot of chains and chainsaws. There are a lot of trees down.”
“Got them off and they got there safe. A lot of trees are down. I think they said one town close by was completely wiped out.”
