Senator Sandy Crawford stopped by Cedar County Memorial Hospital last week as she was making visits throughout the district. Fresh off of her Senate win, she was welcomed by CEO Terry Nichols to discuss healthcare concerns that Critical Access hospitals such as ours face on a daily basis. Senator Crawford also toured the hospital and took time for a casual sit-down discussion with CCMH staffers to also discuss their concerns and just how years of change have impacted the entire system of care. Senator Crawford assured Mr. Nichols of her help in a number of areas, some of which that can slow the processes of the planned forward movement that the CEO in working to implement. CCMH congratulates Senator Crawford on her win and looks forward to a positive working relationship in the future.
