SINGING PRAISES TO GOD – Grandpa’s Neighbors (the Neale Family) were at Pape Christian Church on Sunday, Aug. 26, for their annual visit, which is always a joy and a blessing for each of us. The song service was followed by a delicious and bountiful carry-in dinner. Visit Grandpa’s Neighbors on FaceBook to learn more about this Godly family.

Our Sunday school hour opened with the beautiful hymn, “Are You Washed In the Blood.”

Those mentioned for special prayer were Karl Schmidt, and Dr. Ricky Casey. Keep our youth of all ages in your prayers as they travel school, and prayers also for Devin Bray and all of our college students who travel far and away from home. Prayers of rejoicing and thanksgiving are in order for Shawn Bray as he completes his latest schooling.

Pape enjoyed a full house for our annual Grandpa’s Neighbors visit. The meal and fellowship following the singing was truly a joy and a blessing.
