Special Road gets new mower

Lalan Cole, president of the El Dorado Springs Special Road District, said the district finally received the new tractor, hydraulic arm and mower it ordered back in February. He said, the crew has been so busy chipping and sealing it hasn’t had time yet to use the new mowing system.

He said their old John Deere and mower were about to give up the ghost, so they had to do something.

Where have they been chip and sealing?  So many places Lalan couldn’t remember them all. (Editor’s note: I know Lake Hill Road has been chip and sealed because we drive on it almost daily.) Lalan said they had covered several miles of the road by Greenstreets. He also mentioned First Street. He said people will know if their street has been resurfaced.
