STATE CHAMPION – Kale Boultinghouse, 12, was recently named the Missouri Junior High Rodeo State Champion Team Roping Heeler. Kale and his partner, Colbi Freeman, of Carthage, traveled all over the state of Missouri competing against 6,7 and 8th graders. The rodeo season started in August and will end the last week of June of this year. Kale and Colbi and their families will travel to the National Finals in Huron, S. D., to compete with kids from all over the United States and Canada for a World Championship title and a piece of the $50,000 prize money.

  Kale is the son of Lee and Amy Boultinghouse and the grandson of Roy Boultinghouse and Dennis and Melissa Markham and the late Darla Boultinghouse.

  Kale has been competing for a couple of years and would like to continue his rodeo career.
