Stockton Chamber hosts annual banquet, honors local businesses and leaders

The Stockton Area Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual banquet Saturday evening at the Ray H. Zumwalt Expo Center, drawing a strong turnout of community members and business leaders for a night of recognition, celebration, and connection.

The event kicked off with a presentation of the colors by the American Legion Color Guard, who had the honor of opening the banquet again this year.

Attendees enjoyed an evening filled with networking, drinks, dancing, a silent auction, and a dinner catered by Hillbilly Express Smoked Meats & Catering LLC, which served up an array of crowd-pleasing dishes.

One of the night’s most notable recognitions went to Liquid Luck Coffee Company, named the 2025 Business of the Year. Owners expressed deep appreciation for the award and the support of the community.

“We’re here for the early risers, the late-night dreamers, the farmers, the students, the parents juggling a million things, and everyone in between,” they said. “We’re incredibly grateful for the love and support that has made this journey possible.”

Former Chamber Executive Director Bill Crabtree was also honored. Believing he was attending as a guest of honor; Crabtree was surprised with a special recognition for his seven years of dedicated service to the Stockton community.

“Bill is loved and respected by so many,” Stephanie Mears said during her presentation. Thank you for being a shining example for all of us.” Mears, who presented Crabtree with an award, was also recognized with an award during the event.

The annual banquet remains a cherished tradition in Stockton. It celebrates the businesses, leaders, and volunteers who continue to make the community thrive.
