Stump Ford Bridge opened in time

Just in time for ElDo school opening, the Cedar County Commissioners, MoDOT and Great River Engineering did the final inspection last Tuesday, Aug. 15, on Stump Ford Bridge, Road 1201, over Cedar Creek so the school bus did not have to back track on Wednesday when school opened.

Northern Commissioner Don Boultinghouse shared the news with the Sun.

Residents south and north of the bridge appreciate having it open.
