The Student Council at El Dorado Christian School has been very busy. They are a group of hard workers with thoughtful hearts.  When the announcement was made that the 2020 El Dorado Christmas Parade had been cancelled, the ECS students were disappointed; however, it didn’t break their giving spirit.  They, with 100% support from ECS Principal, Mrs. Kelly Bryson, planned and proceeded to have a small “parade”- traveling to the local healthcare facilities; Cedar County Memorial Hospital, Mercy Clinics, and Community Springs Healthcare Facility. The weather was a little chilly, but the waves, smiles and appreciation from the Hospital and Clinic’s windows and front steps, warmed the hearts of the ECS students. The Student Council members even jumped-off the float to take a few minutes to walk along the outside windows of Community Springs Facility. El Dorado Christian School and our community deeply appreciate the personal sacrifices that each and everyone in the healthcare profession deal with on a daily basis.  God Bless Each of You, Our Healthcare Heroes.  Pictured; left to right; On back of truck, Isabelle Bryson; sitting; Breann Reasoner, Deonsay McNeill, Jude Wyant (as the Buffalo), Noah Bland, Daisha McNeill, Chad Murray (lying down), and Olivia Bryson.
