TOPS Chapter 9319 El Dorado Springs met in the United Methodist Church, 201 E Broadway on Thursday, May 2, for their weekly weigh-in and meeting.
Kay led us in singing “When Your Smiling.” We said our TOPS and KOPS Pledges.
Marilyn led us in a series of exercises
Leader Sheryl Ann led us in Roll Call, 28 weighed in today and the chapter had a net gain of 1.2 lbs. for the week. Best loser of the week was Robbie with a loss of 3.6 lbs.
We sang Happy Anniversary to Judy and Les Knight who are celebrated their anniversary on May 1 and to Judy and Ray Bozarth who will celebrate their 40 anniversary on May 8.
Judy D won the right to draw for a marble but did not get the winning one.
Contest report: There is a three-way tie between Susan, Carol and Juanita they all have three letters.

Jean reported on the up- coming State Recognition Days in Springfield. Let her know if you need a ride and have a request to room with a friend as she is just assigning rooms that can be changed if needed. We have five rooms with two double beds each. Those signed up to go on Friday are: Linda and Warren Hall, Judy and Ray Bozarth, LJ Bishop, Judy D, Sue C, Kay S, Marie B, Linda C and Jean L. Judy K is going but she and husband have a room elsewhere. Marilyn and Sheryl Ann will be attending the Saturday session.
Floor was turned over to Marilyn to present awards for April.
The chapter had a net loss for April of 2.2 lbs.
Free dues were won by Judy B since she is a KOPS, she passed this along to Judy D.
Best loser for the month was Sheryl Ann, she lost 12 lbs. and won $5.56.
Those with a back in black month were: Juda, Marie, Judy D, Carolyn, Angie, Linda C, Chris, Mary and Sheryl Ann.
KOPS in leeway and under goal were: Marilyn, Jean, Juanita and Steve, those in leeway were, Judy B, Linda H and Carol.
Linda C received a certificate and charm for her 20 lb. loss, and certificate and charm for half way to goal. Linda C is now “on the stick” which means she has less than 20 lbs. to lose to goal.
Susan S received a 6-week steady loser certificate and charm.
Linda Hall received a certificate and charm for 9 years as a KOPS and a certificate and charm for KOPS in Black. Congratulations Linda especially for the KOPS in Black.
Those on the stick are: Marie, LJ, Margie, Susan, Juda and Linda C.
We thank Marilyn and Carol for doing the weight recording and awards for us.
Sheryl displayed some ideas on shirt design. She had a sample of the type of material Travis could furnish and can possibly do them in what- ever style each person wants.
