TOPS Chapter 319 El Dorado Springs (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) met in the Church of Christ meeting room on Thursday, March 9.

We are glad to have our leader, Robbie back.  Kay led us in singing “Losing”.

We said our TOPS & KOPS Pledges.

Marilyn caught up on some awards; Tammy received a Back in Black award for the month of February.  Jerry B received a welcome to TOPS certificate and “Turn Over A New Leaf” charm.  Melanie received a certificate and charm for inviting Jerry to join our chapter. Juanita received Back in Black with perfect attendance, Certificate and charm for 12 week continual loss and certificate and charm for five pounds to goal.  Steve received back in black with perfect attendance Certificate and charm for six weeks continual loss and certificate for 15 lb. loss.

Robbie led us in roll call.  Twenty-seven members weighed in today.

Robbie was our best loser for the week with a loss of 5.4 lbs.

Marilyn is getting ready to send in an order for charms.  This order will total approximately $140. Linda H made motion we approve this expense and Carol 2nd. Motion passed.

As Linda Hall mentioned last week the new Chapter Manuals are available. The cost is $2. If you want one please pay Sharon, they must be all ordered at once and must be paid for before order is sent in.

Carol won the right to draw for the marble but got a green one.

Susan reported on the Baked Potato Luncheon. We will meet at the Community Center at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday March 15, to set up. We need all available members to help with this. The list of desserts was checked and determined we need more pies. Potatoes were passed out to those who are baking them. Please remember we will need all chapter members on Thursday, March 16, to attend and help with this event. We will gather at the Community Center 7 a.m. Thursday, March 16. for weigh-in and a short meeting.

Our next meeting on March 23 is our Chapter Awards Ceremony. Please dress up a little as Robbie says “wear Church clothes.” This will be presented by our weight recorders, Marilyn and Carol so expect a nice awards ceremony.

Sheryl Ann had our program, she is trying to get us organized and focused this week on our laundry rooms. She passed out a bottle of laundry detergent to all members. We do love Sheryl Ann’s programs as she is always giving us something!

She gave us tips on how we can get our laundry room fixed up so easier and more efficient use.

Thank you Sheryl Ann for a great program!

With no other business meeting was adjourned with our motto. ‘If It Is TO Be It Is Up To ME”
