TOPS morning group meets

TOPS Chapter 9319 El Dorado Springs (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) met in the United Methodist Church, 201 E Broadway on Thursday, Dec. 5, for their weekly weigh-in, and meeting.  

Susan led us in Roll Call and walking report. Twenty-four weighed in today, the chapter had a 2.2 net loss.  Best loser of the week was Laura with a loss of 3.4 lbs.  

Other great losses were: Robbie 2.4, Margie 1.2, Kay 1.4 and Sheryl Ann 1.4. 

Marble Game: Jean won the right to draw for the marble but did not get the winning one.

Sheryl announced the Woods receipts are up to $15,126.85. This means we should receive over $150 from this.

Susan said we need to think about our annual donation to a charity. There are several we can choose from and if someone has a suggestion, we can then vote on which one to go with.

Sue C gave the treasurer’s report for November: Starting balance $4,829.12; General Fund: $3,677.98, Income $42.30, Expenses $20.00. Recognition Day Fund; $1,151.42. Total ending balance $4,851.42.  

Floor was turned over to Marilyn for the awards. For the month of November, we had a NET loss of 31.2 lbs.! This was the largest monthly net loss all year.  June, we had a net loss of 27.4 and October 22.8.  We did not start the year out well, we had four months with less than a 10 lb. net loss, two months with a very small net loss. Hopefully we have turned a corner and are all doing better. Some she mentioned who were doing really well were: Cheryl M with an average monthly loss of 2.7, Robbie average monthly loss 3.0, Sandi average monthly 3.7, Linda C 3.0 average per month and Laura an impressive 10 lbs. average per month.

Traci was the winner of free dues for this month.

Best loser for the month was Laura with a loss of 7.8 lbs.  she won $6.20. She has received her 65 lb. loss certificate, and is in a new decade. 

Cheryl M received a certificate and charm for 20 lb. loss

Judy B received a certificate for a 35 lb. loss earned on 6/13/19

Margie had a 3 lb. loss this month, Cheryl M 3.2, Chris W. 3.2, Judy D, 5.2 and Judy K 5.9.

Members on the stick are: Margie, Marie, LJ, Linda C, Susan and Juda. We thank Laura for making our stick festive for the holidays. 

Those who received a back in black with perfect attendance certificate were: Sue C, Linda C, Pam L, Margie O.
