TOPS Chapter 9319 El Dorado Springs met in The Preferred Family Healthcare building, 700 E. Hospital Rd, El Dorado Springs, on Thursday, June 6, for their regular weigh-in and meeting.
Warren, our leader, called the meeting to order.
Carol led us in singing “To TOPS Club I Will GO”
We said our TOPS & KOPS Pledges.
Marilyn led us in some stretching exercises.
Warren led us in roll call; 19 members weighed in. The chapter had a gain of 15.8 lbs. and a loss of 3.4 pounds which gave us a net gain of 12.4 lbs.
The week’s best loser was Pat with a loss of 1.4 pounds, congratulations Pat!
Linda Hall presented awards for May.
Linda C, Samantha, Sheryl, and Warren all received Back in Black with Perfect Attendance awards. Pat also received a back in black with perfect attendance award along with a 30 Pound Loss certificate and charm, AND Best Loser for the month of May. Pat lost 10.6 pounds in May. She also received the best loser money which totaled $36.56 (there was no winner last month). Congratulations Pat.
Stephany reached her lowest weight this year. Sharron reached her lowest weight this year.
KOPS: Judy B received her two-year KOPS certificate and charm and KOPS in Black certificate and charm.
Marilyn and Jean received 500 miles walked certificates. Linda H received back in black with perfect attendance.
Winner of free dues will be drawn next week.
We had a great May; our Gains were 34.2 and losses were 46.8 giving us a net loss of 12.6 for the month.
Marble Game: Sue won the right to draw but did not get the winning one. There was $16.00 in the pot.
Warren and Linda prepared a cute skit for our entertainment. “Walking with Warren” It was very cute and fun.
Laura reminded us we are halfway through the year. Are you Halfway to the goals you set for yourself? We have a little less than 7 months to reach the goals we set. Remember just losing a Half A Pound each week will give you a 13-pound loss by the end of the year. Review your goals and stay on track.
Warren reminded us to be sure to fill in and return the slips Linda H recently passed out to everyone. We need people to take the positions of Leader, Co-Leader, Secretary and Treasurer. These are elected positions. There are many positions that need to be filled that are not elected positions. Many require little time spent but are important to keep the chapter running. Please be sure to fill in and return your slip as soon as possible to Linda H.
