TOPS sends Mary L. and Angie birthday wishes

TOPS Chapter 9319 El Dorado Springs met in the Bethel Free Will Baptist Church, 1300 S Summer St, El Dorado Springs on Thursday, March 4, for their weekly weigh-in and meeting.

Linda Hall, Co leader called the meeting to order.

Carol led us in singing “Scale So Low.”

We said our TOPS and KOPS pledges.

Linda H led us in roll call and walking report. Fifteen members weighed in. The chapter had a 3.6 lb. gain and a 6.0 lb. loss resulting in a 2.4 net loss. Best loser for the week was Laura with a loss of 2.0 lbs. Congratulations Laura.

Our Treasurer reminded us dues are due for March.

Jean read the secretaries report for February, it was approved as read.

State Recognition Day is coming up on April 23 and 24. It will be in Independence this year. We must send in registration by March 25. Linda H sent around a sign-up sheet for members to sign up and purchase t-shirts and charm. Please see Jean if you did not get signed up.

Margie received back in black with perfect attendance

Laura received a charm and certificate for 24 weeks of loss

Linda W received back in black with perfect attendance

Judy D received her 25 lb. loss certificate and 5 lbs. to goal certificate and charm

Warren received back in black with perfect attendance

Judy D was our best loser for the month with a 5.8 loss, she received $4.65 in cash.

Jean received her 16-year consecutive KOPS certificate and charm and the KOPS in Black Certificate and charm.

Marilyn, Linda H, Jean, Carol and Juda all KOPS and All below goal in February.

Winner of free dues was Linda W.

In February we had a loss of 13.6 and a gain of 16.2 giving us a net gain of 2.6 lbs.

Those on the stick of 20 lbs. to goal are: Linda C, Chris, Margie, Sue, Lynda, and Judy D.

Linda read a letter from Claudia. There will be a Zoom meeting on Saturday, March 13.

Claudia asked for volunteers to work at SRD, Judy D, Laura, Jean and Linda C said they would work.

Marble game: Margie won the right to draw but did not get the winning one.

Laura drew the winners for the Bingo game.

1st place was Linda C, 2nd place Warren and 3rd place Laura. They all received prizes and Laura then presented a prize to all entries.

Noted: Mary L. had a birthday this week and Angie has a birthday today.

NOTE: Claudia will be here to visit next week, March 11th.  Let’s show a big attendance and a big loss.
