TOPS Chapter 319 El Dorado Springs (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) met in the Church of Christ meeting room on Thursday, March 2.

Linda Hall opened the meeting in the absence of Robbie who is recovering from surgery.

Kay led us in singing “Hand In Hand”.

We said our TOPS and KOPS pledges.

Recap of February’s minutes were read by Jean and approved as read.

Treasures report will be given next week.

Roll call was led by Linda H. and each person was to say what they did right or wrong to cause gain or loss.

27 weighed in today. Best loser for the week was Warren with a loss of 2.6 lbs.

Other good losses were; Linda H. 3.2 over a four week period and Pam 2.8 over a two week period

Marilyn presented the awards for February today.

She announced the chapter had a net loss of 11.8 for the month of February.

Winner of the drawing for perfect attendance was Warren.

Best loser for the month was Tom with an average loss for the month of 7.9.

Congratulations Tom.

KOPS in leeway and under goal are: Marilyn, Marguerite, Paul, Sharon and Melanie. KOPS in leeway are: Marie, Dorothy, Jean and Carol.

Marilyn said we have five KOPS who have been below goal for the past two months.

Pam L. was awarded a new member charm and certificate for joining our chapter. Marilyn received a certificate and one month’s free dues for bringing Pam to us. Since Marilyn is a KOPS she gave her free dues to Sandi.

Chris Witt received his certificate for 25 lb. loss, 30 lb. loss, 20 lbs. to goal, 10 pounds to goal, and five pounds to goal.

Jean L. received her 12 year KOPS certificate and charm and a Black K charm meaning she was not out of leeway for the year.

As always we thank Marilyn and Carol for the hard work they do weight recording and keeping the records.

Susan reported on the Baked Potato Luncheon. Signup sheets were passed around to sign up for jobs needing to be done that day and another sheet to sign up for desserts you are bringing and any other items you are to bring. Susan needs the delivery orders to be turned in by Wednesday, March 15. Flyers are ready for members to distribute.  Delivery order forms are available from Susan. Please plan to attend on the 16th and help with this event.

Jean reported on SRD. She passed around pictures of the t-shirt and pin and charm that will be available this year. Signup sheet will be available next week.

Linda said there is a new Chapter Manual. She read the introduction page to us.

We sang Happy Birthday to Angie.

Kathy won the right to draw for a marble in the marble game but did not get the white one.
