TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly)

TOPS CHAPTER 319 El Dorado Springs  (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) met in the Church Of Christ meeting room on Thursday, July 7.

Our leader, Robbie opened the meeting.  Kay led us in singing “We’ll lose weight”.

Robbie led us in roll call.  Twenty-five weighed in today and the chapter had a net gain of 13 lbs.

Some good losses were Sandi: 1.8 lbs lost, Juanita 1.0 lb. lost.  Best loser was Jan with a loss of 3.2 lbs.  Marilyn presented the awards today.

She said the chapter had a net loss for the month of 17 lbs.  So far this year we have had only one month where there was a net gain and that was in January the net gain was 10 lbs.  In February we had a 37 lb. net loss.

Juanita won the drawing for free dues.

Chris Witt was the month’s best loser with a loss of 9.6 lbs.  He received $8.50.

Sue C. received a certificate for Back in Black with perfect attendance

Virginia G received a certificate for Back in Black with perfect attendance and certificate and charm for 10 lb. loss.

Becky M. received a certificate for Back in Black with perfect attendance, certificate and charm for a 30 lb. loss on 6/9/16.

Susan Sandel received a certificate for Back in Black with perfect attendance, certificate and charm for 10 lb. loss on 6/2/16 and certificate for 15 lb. loss on 6/23/16 and certificate and charm for six weeks continual loss on 6/23/16.

Juanita received certificate for Back in Black with perfect attendance, certificate and charm for 10 lbs. loss on 6/9/16 and she is very close to a 15 lb. loss.

Chris W.  Certificate and charm for 10 lb. loss and certificate for 15 lb. loss on 6/30/16.  He is very close to a 20 lb. loss.

KOPS in leeway all month:

Marie, Marilyn, Marguerite, Paul, Sharon, Jean and Carol.  Carol and Marilyn are below goal.

Those on the 20 lb. to goal “stick” are LJ, Tammy and Margie.

Warren reported on the contest.  We have six KOPS and 13 TOPS signed up for the contest. Just to clarify, a KOPS that gains and is over goal will pay the 50¢ fine. If TOPS of KOPS stay the same they will get to draw a card.

Marble game:  Sheryl won the right to draw a marble but drew a green one.

Robbie will be checking on the T-shirts today after the meeting.  She will get cost per shirt and bring that information back to the chapter to be voted on. Those needing a shirt will need to give her a size.

Best Choice Labels:  Sheryl reported we have 1,000 labels and we need 860 more to make it to another 1,000.  It was thought they might accept Always Save labels as well as Best Choice.  Sheryl will check with the company to be sure and report back next week.

We will measure next week. Please remember only one person in to be measured at a time.  Measuring is voluntary.
