Margie had the program today. She took her program from the April/May issue of the TOPS Magazine. “Puzzles into Positive.” Each member was given a packet and asked to put the puzzle together to make a quote. Then each member read their quote and commented on what it means to them. One quote was, “walking, the most ancient exercise and still the best modern exercise. Jean commented on the quote applied to her as she enjoys walking for exercise.

Another quote was “The only bad workout is the one that didn’t happen” Warren said this fit him well.

Another: “If you spend your whole life waiting for the storm you will not enjoy the sunshine” The member that got this quote said it applied so well to her.

Thank you, Margie, this was a great program and a lot of fun.

Marie brought the tasting dish today. It was Savory Sauteed herb & garlic Chicken thighs. The recipe was taken from the TOPS News May/June 2021 issue. It was delicious.
