Tri-County Quilt Club plans a picnic during next meeting

Tri-county quilt club met Aug. 7 at the Rockville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall at 10 a.m. Several ladies came to sew. At 12:30, 17 ladies enjoyed a bountiful carry-in lunch hosted by Bobbie Hardgarter, Sally Evans and Beverly Sullivans. Meeting began at 1:30, with club President Mary McLeod. Minutes were read and approved.
Program was paper piecing by Pam Walker. Pam also told of her trip to New York and the fabric she bought.
Bobbie Sullivans and Phyllis Stewart told of plans for the Papenville Picnic.
Next meeting will be Sept. 11, at the Papenville Museum including a picnic hosted by Phyllis and Beverly. For more information call Marge at 660- 598- 4240.
