Tri-County Quilt Club met Nov. 7, at the country home of Margie Siegismund at noon a delicious luncheon was enjoyed by 17 members. At 1:30 president Mary McLeod conducted the business meeting, Archie blocks were shown and number 4 was passed out

Show and Tell was by  Archie, Bobbie , Pam and Mary.

Plans were made for the annual Christmas party to be at noon at the Rockville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Bring a dish to share and a gift if you wish to participate in gift exchange.

Our program was by Margie Siegismund showing how to make rag rugs on her loom. There is a lot of work to making a rug, preparing the loom, threading the loom, with 24 spools of thread keeping the threading line, takes lots of narrow strips sewed together to make a ball that you weave into a rug. Just think from the rags comes something very pretty and useful. Thanks Margie.

Next meeting will be Dec. 5, at 1:30 at the Rockville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. For more information, call Marge Zink at 660-598-4240.
