Marilyn is trying to contact Kimball to see if she is going to continue as a member, she is in the hospital recovering from a hip replacement.
Marilyn pointed out we need another person’s name on the Garden Club account. Ursula said she could do that.
The garage sale did well, there was some discussion as to which is best to not price items and just ask what the person is willing to pay, or maybe just price the more expensive items and items the person donating wants back if it doesn’t sell for the price they think is fair.
Ursula said we should check our email as the Fall Issue of the Garden Forum will only be sent out by email.
Committee reports was tabled as Rama was absent.
Marilyn and Shelly are working with the school on the Smokey Bear project. Marilyn has been touch with the art teacher at the Christian School and she has several students who will participate.
Ursula said the district meeting focused mainly on water conservation.
New business: Year books.
A sign-up sheet was sent around for members to pick what month they want to host the meeting and what topic they want to base their program on.
A meeting time will be set to work on the yearbook in November.
Jean presented a program on Missouri Flora and Fauna and passed out some handouts on Butterfly gardens and Missouri wildflowers.
Next meeting will be at the home of Ursula Fuller on Nov. 4.
With no other business we closed the meeting with the closing vow. Everyone enjoyed pumpkin cake and pumpkin whip.
