Twilight Gardeners Garden Club met on Oct. 17, at Grace United Methodist Church with Ursula calling the meeting to order. There were 12 members present and one guest.
Members were to name there favorite herb. It was discussed when student essay and Smokey Bear/Woodsy Owl contests was due. Committee reported on Community Garden.
Unfinished business, information needed for Book of Evidence due Nov. 30. Farmers market last Saturday went well.
Four members attended district meeting in Springfield. Received a Purple Ribbon for the club and Blue ribbon for our yearbook.
Donna paid for flag at the Blue Star Memorial for 2018. Donna and Jennifer bought wreathe for Blue Star Memorial.
New business: Jeana showed Garden Club pin and calendar books for purchase. Sharon indicated a picture taken at echotots.
Program was given by Rama on Herbs for cooking and medicinal use, information on potpourri and decorative wood pallets. Refreshments by Isabel and Russell.
