Spoonbillers are still catching fish between here and the railroad bridge. Those that go up river seem to be coming back with one or two fish.
They are buying crappie minnows so they are catching crappie somewhere. You’d have to find a place out of the wind.
We are open from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. and on Sundays. Closed Monday.

They ran water Thursday. A few people are catching whites. Not many people fishing. Too cold.
Our hours are 9-5 and Sundays 9-6.Call 417/276-3838, leave a message and we’ll call you back.

I haven’t been able to fish all week because of the wind. I only caught one walleye today. The crappie and white bass are going up the rivers. Paddle Tails and Roster Tails work best. Late on windblown points, walleye hit on shiners, spoons and on jerk baits like a Rouge.
I won’t do a fishing report next week because I will fish in a crappie tournament on Lake Fork in Texas.
Our hours are 8-5.

It’s been horrible conditions all week. I haven’t heard of anybody catching fish. A guy went out this morning. We couldn’t believe he was going. He was back in an hour. The lake is treacherous.
Our hours are 9-5.
