Wreck hurts two near Harwood

Two Schell City residents were injured in a one vehicle wreck at 3:55 p.m. Friday, July 1, on Hwy. Y a mile northeast of Harwood, according to a report by Trooper J. D. Leemasters.

The report said the 2007 Ford 150 driven east by Duane E. Sellers. 49, who was wearing his seatbelt, went off the roadway, struck a culvert and overturned. The passenger, Marsha B. Barnes. 41, who was wearing her seatbelt, was taken by ambulance to Nevada Regional Medical Center, with injuries reported as minor. Sellers was airlifted to Mercy Hospital, Joplin, with injuries reported as moderate.
