The Iris Belles Federated Garden Club awarded June Yard of the Month to Cliff and Dixie Conner. They have lived at 213 Westhaven since 1972 and have spent many hours in their yard, Cliff being directed by Dixie. Those who know this couple know they work very well together. Cliff said his wife does the planning and he makes it happen. Their flowers and plants are all around their home. Day lilies, geraniums and petunias greet you at the door in large containers. There is a small waterfall in the front surrounded by flowers and various plants. Several Rose of Sharon are on the corners of the flower beds. Hostas are on the north side and a few scattered in other beds. A large Gum Ball tree in the front provides shade that Cliff appreciates. Several red maples add color to their yard. The Conners are an amazing couple who love gardening.
