Rockville United Methodist Church services were canceled due to the cold weather and snow.

Mt. Zion area has been in the deep freeze weather advisory. We’re thinking what a mild winter. We are rethinking that thought. Was good to see the sunshine Friday afternoon and Saturday.

Marge Zink didn’t try to plant her lettuce on Valentine’s Day, I wonder if anyone did.

Marge had a surprise when she looked out the kitchen window and saw two Bald Eagles sitting in the big sycamore tree. They stayed awhile; haven’t seen any more since, it was awesome.

Wanda Rector has been staying home, resting up until the weather warms up.  doing puzzles and reading and watching TV.

Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm, Belle is disappointed that she didn’t get much snow for making her angels (as of Saturday)  glad she has a good warm bed with no more lumps. Robin is busy knitting and keeping the chores done with belles help.

Tom and Beverly Pelkey had an unusual thing happen at their house. The Schwan Truck died in their driveway.  took a while for help to arrive. Tom was disappointed that the ice cream wasn’t going to thraw out because he was going to volunteer to eat the ice cream and call the neighbors in to help.

Chryshella Vandivier visited her grandparents John and Julia Snethen this past week. Julia made it to the beauty shop and grocery store, John did drive through.
