Mt. Zion Home Bible study was held in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home each Tuesday at 7 p.m., every one  is invited to join us.

We wish Julia Snethen a speedy recovery. Julia was taken to Research Hospital Monday morning.

Visitor in the Howard and Dixie Peterson home has been Johnnie Damron. Weekend visitor was Brenda Peterson. Dixie attended her school reunion Saturday in Lowry City.

We are thankful for the showers of rain in the Mt. Zion area. The corn is growing, the wild flowers are very pretty along the roadway.

Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm. Belle is a happy dog. She rated an ice cream treat for gathering eggs that her chicken had laid in her dog house. She brings the eggs out and lays it in front of her dog house for Robin to pick up.

Stan and Helen Nixon and Gregg from Eldorado, KS. visited recently with Marge Zink. Always good to see former neighbors.

Stacy and Mike Griffith hosted Mothers Day dinner in the Marge Zink home.

Tom Pelkey is mowing and mowing the grass it is growing faster than he can mow. He finally got the wood box out for the summer. Beverly has been doing some cleaning.  The mother cat doesn’t like to share the kittens.

Tri County  Quilt Club met May 7, at the  Rockville United Methodist Fellowship Hall. Next meeting will be June 4, at 7 p.m.
