The morning message at Rockville United Methodist Church by Pastor Larry Sorrells was “In Search of the North Pole” from Mark 9:2-9.  You are welcome to join us for Worship at 9 am Sunday, 9 a.m. Tuesday Bible study, 5 p.m. Thursday Women Bible Study.

Mt. Zion Area made it out of the deep freeze after 13 days of below zero weather and were too happy to see the sunshine and warmer temperatures.

The County did clean the gravel roads as best they could. Thank you.

Congratulations to Dixie Peterson for being chosen Valentines’ Queen on Feb. 14, at Truman Lake Manor where she is still doing therapy.

Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm, Belle was happy to have all the snow and the cold didn’t bother her much. Robin on the other hand could have done okay; with less of each. Mabel Siegismund and Speck were happy were for their big woodpile.

Tom and Beverly Pelkey were happy for their woodpile, but Tom saw it shrink quickly in the woodshed… The round woodpiles were covered with snow waiting for next year. Wood Fairy had snow up past his belly.

John and Julia Snethen found out Sunday that the newest expected member of the family is a boy. David and Chryshella of Knob Noster told the family at dinner Sunday. Julia kept to her routine Friday making it to the beauty shop and shopping.

Rockville Hand Quilters have missed two Thursdays of no quilting; we are hoping we make it this week.
