Rockville morning service was at Rockville United Methodist Church began at 8 a.m. with the men serving the women a delicious bountiful Mother’s Day breakfast at 9 a.m. Paige Marten brought the message “Mother’s Love” and a beautiful rose was presented to each lady that present.
Mt. Zion Home Bible study was held in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home at 7 p.m. each Tuesday evening with seven attendance to study the Bible; Everyone welcome
Mt. Zion area has lots of water, almost lake front property. We have had lots of rain, keeps one busy mowing the grass, the flowers are blooming.
We are having blackberry winter; summer will be here before we enjoy spring.
Over at the Robin Siegismund farm Belle was overjoyed when Robin was cleaning the freezer and found a stray ice cream bar Belle got to enjoy, it tasted so good. She forgot they didn’t get the chick they ordered. Belle got to help with the cows so she had a good week; water over the road so very little traffic.
A weekend visitor in the Howard and Dixie Peterson home was Brenda Peterson of Richmond.
Tom and Beverly Pelkey have been busy cleaning house mowing grass and enjoying the humming birds.
Sunday dinner guest at the Marge Zink, Stacy and Mike Griffith was Brenda, Howard and Dixie Peterson; Brenda celebrated her birthday.
At the Snethen home a pretty quiet week with John running his bus route and Julia stays close to home. For Mother’s Day they spent a quiet day with son Ron.
