Mt. Zion Home Bible study meets each Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home to study the Bible with 10 in attendance.

June Marshall returned recently from Florida visiting daughter, Jane, and family.

We are thankful for the rain of the past week; a lot of trees were blown down blocking roads. Sure has made the soy beans grow; not looking forward to the hot weather this week.

Mary Parker from Ozark visited Marge Zink Friday.

Dixie and Howard Peterson met Kent Crawford and Beth for lunch recently.

Tom and Beverly Pelkey were shopping in Osceola; Tom’s container garden is still producing cucumbers, potatoes and the biggest winter squash.

I am wondering if anyone else has flies that hide the fly swatter, when I need the fly swatter it is never where I can find it or where it is supposed to be, so I think the flies hide it. I know I put it away. So I think the flies take steroids and Marge’s pills and can grow strong enough to hide the fly swatter then turn back to their regular size laughing all the time.

John and Julia Snethen visited the doctor’s office this week and John ran his bus route.
