Jewell Ellerman Birthday 2cc

Jewel and Helen Ellerman went to Columbia on Wednesday, Sept. 28, on the Oats bus. They attended the 45th anniversary of the Oats bus. It was held at the Holiday Inn. There was around 700 attending. There was 11 attending from the Cedar/Vernon County area with the two drivers. They had door prizes and two from the Cedar/Vernon area won a door prize. Everyone who went on the bus had a good time.

Bob and Cheryl Ellerman and Helen Ellerman held a 90th birthday party for their mother, Jewell Ellerman at the Schell City Community Building on Sunday, Oct. 2. It was a surprise birthday party for her. Those present were: Grace Smith of Butler; Nancy Raymond, Louse Lasley, Gary and Diane Rutledge, Rosie Taylor, Harold and Ruth Woodcock, Barbie Wilson, Dorothy Kramer, Brenda Lovewell, Tom Anchrich, Jim Floyd, Mary Ann Sulzen, Jo Ann Redburn, Everett and Linda Smith, Mildred Williamson and Pastor Kevin McNeely and wife, La Rita, all of El Dorado Springs; Terry Schiereck of Rockville; Mike, Kelly, Hannah and Josh Ellerman of Carl Junction; Leon and Kathy Smith and Jim and Martha Waltrip of Nevada; Arletta Wilson and Larry Plamer of Rich Hill; Sharon Sterling of Appleton City; Jeanie O’Brien and Jim and Sharon Goodman of Schell City; Donnie and Linda Allen and Anna Hopkins of Stockton; Shirley Moore, Anne Schmize, Jerry and Karen Coy and Madalyn Crocker all of Harwood; and Neoma Foreman of Walker.

Jerry and Karen Coy helped Bob and Cheryl decorate the hall for the party. There was a lot of visiting and picture taking was enjoyed by all.

Bob and Cheryl of Edwards spent from Friday might until Sunday in the home of his mother, Jewell Ellerman and his sister, Helen Ellerman. They were here for his mother’s 90th birthday.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Oct. 2. Pastor Jon Caudle Sr.’s sermon “God’s Love,” was taken from I Corinthians 13.

Jerry and Karen Coy enjoyed having their grandson, Hunter Coy, son of Joey and Amie Coy, part of last week He is around four months old.
