Mt. Zion area was surprised to have a visit from old man winter; snow on Thursday and turning cold freezing all the fall plants, the mums were so pretty.

We have a new citizen in the Mt. Zion neighborhood. Joel Siegismund was born Tuesday to Ethen and Michelle.

I’m sure the deer hunters enjoyed the opening of the season with the cold weather; several deer were harvested in the neighborhood.

Enjoying visiting with folks at the VFW Post 11242 and Auxiliary turkey dinner Saturday evening; thanks to all who came. Valor quilts were awarded to Ron Mc Cleland and Joni Bollig.

We wish Mabel Siegismund a Happy Birthday; she reminds us she is still the youngest of the family, Florine is still the oldest. She enjoyed having her kids and grandkids at church with her Sunday.
