The morning message at the  Rockville United Methodist Church was by Pastor Larry Sorrells was titled “He Did What God Asked “from Matthew 1: 18-25. A Father’s Day breakfast was enjoyed before Church Service. You are welcome to join us for Worship Sundays at 9 a.m.

Mt. Zion area has been busy with farmers baling hay and planting fields. The corn has really grown.  Gardeners are enjoying fresh vegetables.

Our prayers and sympathy to the family of Lisa Weant Jacob. Funeral services were last week. Interment in Taberville Cemetery, Taberville.

Dixie Peterson celebrated her Birthday at Truman Lake Manor June 13, with cake and cards presents and visitors; a very enjoyable day.

Gregg Pelkey visited in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home Saturday, helping Tom with some jobs a very good Fathers Day present.

The Wood Fairy was glad a lady took his picture, he felt like a proud tourist attraction.

John and Julia Snethen keep several appointments at the Doctor. Julia is getting ready for eye surgery.  Michael and Logan Snethen visited John for Fathers Day Sunday.

Happy Birthday to Georgia Branstetter who celebrated a birthday June 20.  How many we don’t know? We do know she’s old enough to drive.

Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm, Belle has been spending her nights at Mabel’s house the past week since their are lumps in her bed, the chickens like to lay eggs there; people are checking on her and messing her house up, it’s cooler at night at Speck’s house. Robin is still making little peoples blankets the pink bunnies are Belles favorite.

Sherry Peterson, of Garden City, and Howard Peterson were Sunday dinner guests in the Mike and Stacy Griffith and Marge Zink home.
